G-Tek began in June 1989 when Tom C. Lin, currently President and CEO recognized the need for diversifying manufacturing services for the growing telecommunication industry. Penang of west Malaysia was chosen as of G-Tek's manufacturing base considering its harmonization of multiple cultures which compliment the company's spiritual indicator of creative and harmony while moving toward globalization.
Over the years the company has developed to its current status as an unique team dedicate in providing creative services of design, manufacturing, logistic supporting and business integration to its industrial clients.
G-Tek has been developing on the base of a turn-key manufacturing service and continues the evolution of envisaging the vision of being the most creative, dynamic and sustainable business entity in the supply chain aiming to fulfill the best quality of custom services.

Conflict Minerals Policy Statement |
The term “Conflict Minerals’ refers to raw materials that come from regions where forced labor and other human rights abuses are used to mine these minerals and finance armed conflict, specifically in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) and its adjoining countries. On 22 August 2012, the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) issued a final rule to implement the new disclosure requirements required by Dodd–Frank and Consumer Protection Act (the “Conflict Minerals Rule”). Section 1502 of the Dodd–Frank Act is intended to make transparent the financial interests that support armed groups in the DRC area. By requiring companies using conflict minerals in their products to disclose the source of such minerals, the law is aimed at dissuading companies from continuing to engage in trade that supports regional conflicts. G-Tek supports the use of conflict-free minerals in its products and to end the exploitation and trade of “conflict minerals” to finance armed conflict, human rights violations and environmental devastation. |
